Project Description

Thomas Hamilton & Associates provided interior architecture and design services for the historic King Edward Hotel conversion into a Hilton Garden Inn, which includes the lobby area, public spaces, and guest rooms. Thomas Hamilton & Associates' design of the interior renovation of the historic hotel incorporated Hilton brand design requirements into the existing hotel building while preserving most of the remaining original historic architectural elements as part of the hotel project.  In 1976 the hotel was listed on the National Register of Historic Places and declared a Mississippi Landmark in 1990, and thereby escaped demolition. The building was vacant for nearly 40 years before our renovations began.
